Memorial Program

In 1955, a trust fund was created to establish a permanent depository for memorial gifts, bequests, and specified contributions. Currently indentified as the “Irrevocable Trust”, only the interest from this trust can be used for operating expenses. As originally designed, the principal of the funds deposited into this trust may never be withdrawn.

In combination with the funds of the “Agency Trust Account” (a revocable trust). the interest generated from these two accounts provides approximately 20% of the operating budget for Elks Aidmore Children’s Center.

Memorial contributions can be made in an amount of your choice. A recognition card is sent to the family or honoree with an acknowledgement to the donor. The contribution will be placed in the Irrevocable Trust, unless otherwise specified, where the interest income will provide continuing services to children, youth and their families for years to come.
